Yes, Joachim Deneuve du Surlign. We can hide "new" topic notices from users without "GM-level" access to those topics. It requires a minor database change, but the current servers are already stressed out, so I will do this at night when you are sleeping.

"GM-Level" access proof-of-concept was successful but is being frozen and forums will remain open to everyone.

Fixing, the "New Topics" and "Active Topics" to respect "GM-Level" access will risk our little home server.

So let us just enjoy the forums we have right now, which are already pretty neat and fun too.

A compromise solution for GMs that will not require server upgrades are "GMBlogs".

You can post comments and have GM-only discussions in those Blogs.

The downside is that they will not tell you if new comments are posted via the website.

But if you "subscribe" to those GM-only blog, you will be notified of new comments via email.

GM-Only forums for spoilers and discussions of published adventures that players should not see. The forums can be locked, but the filter system still shows them in the list of new topics that non-GMs cannot access which frustrated some players, so until I get that filter right, I have unlocked the GM-only section.
