The maps in the finished Pirate Nations have got Longitude and Latitude markings round the edges. Cool!
Unfortunately, the map of Théah doesn't and I can't find 0 Longitude. I guess it should be Charouse, since Montaigne have the best maps in the world.
I can ask Mark Richardson. And Charouse also has the Porte Sorcier who solved Longitude in Theah, so I think you are correct.
Thankyou, that would be handy, and would let me try to stitch this maps together (although, having done some size comparisons, La Bucca's map is about two pixels wide on the scale of the Théah map...)
The final version of Nations of Théah volume one has latitude and longitude on the national maps at the end of the PDF.
The Prime Meridian goes through.....
Castille & Eisen?
If my copying of it onto the big map is correct, it goes about 5 miles west of the tip of Vesten, 20 miles west of Hainzl, ~50 miles east of Barcino, ~20 miles west of Aldana then across Los Grande Bay and the Odisea Peninsula. Huh?
As a note, the Numan Islands map starts only a few mm off the bottom of the main Théah map, with its left hand side almost directly south og Porto Spatia. Bernoulli to Kousai is almost exactly 300 miles
Hmmm...how long does it take to go 300 miles by ship? About 10 days?
Assumptions:
Conclusion
Just over 52 hours travel time.
Pushing it, about 3 days, assuming maneouvering and tides at either end: leave on morning tide day 1, arrive on evening tide day 3. For a ship that slows at night, it could be 4 or 5 days.
I now have a large image containing all of the maps that have been released so far (except for La Bucca, it's too zoomed in to be worthwile on the global map).
Does anyone have a place I could host it?
