I started posting Villains to my website over the weekend. Two so far...
Antoine le Poignard a knife wielding villain http://www.impworks.co.uk/games/7th-sea/7th-sea-villain-week/antoine-le-...
Paul Brown a dubious supplier to ships http://www.impworks.co.uk/games/7th-sea/7th-sea-villain-week/paul-brown/
You can probably guess how often I plan on putting them out from the subject of the thread ;-)
I'd be really interested to know if they are useful, if the format is helpful, if there is anything I could add (or take away) to make them more useful. I've quite a stock pile of old villains from 1st edition I'm converting to 2nd edition along with new ones I'm making so hopefully I can keep up with needing to create a new one each week for a little while at least.
First off, pretty cool. However, one problem I spotted is that both of their respective Villainy Ranks are off.
For Antoine, he should have Influence 1 (Villainy Rank 12 - Strength 11 leaves 1 point for Influence), given that his descriptive blurb notes him as having very little Influence to toss around on schemes. Personally, I might suggest lowering his Strength a couple points (a 9 would work), since unless you've got a party with two or more Duelists, taking this guy down is going to be a slog as they try to inflict enough Dramatic Wounds to defeat him before he does the same to them.
For Paul, his Villainy Rank should be a 6, given his 3's in both Strength and Influence. Otherwise, pretty solid.

Oops - Thanks for spotting that. I'd duplicated their strength and influence! I've fixed them both with my original numbers.
My aim with Antoine was to build a knife fighter who can stand against a group of heroes without having to resort to brute squads. I've added a couple of extra schemes to his description.
I've a lower powered knife fighter from a gang of villains I'll probably post in the future.

Second week - third villain: Vásquez a Castillian sword for hire
http://www.impworks.co.uk/
She seems a bit on the weak side. Granted, she'd be fine for a starting Hero Duelist to challenge and have a pretty solid chance of defeating; a well-built Duelist PC could be rolling 8 dice minimum on a Weaponry Risk before even accounting for flair, and thus tend to have more Raises to work with (especially if they also have Quick Reflexes for Weaponry).
Unless she's meant to be a one-off or a minor encounter for the Heroes while they deal with bigger threats, I might recommend anyone using Vasquez up her Strength to 6. It gives her an extra die to roll, and makes her just a wee bit tougher, requiring more Wounds to inflict a Dramatic Wound on her.

This weeks villain is now up - Gioconda la Sarta - a dangerous woman out for revenge.
Donovan - thanks for your feedback. Vásquez was written as a bit of a challenge for a starting hero or as a secondary villain working alongside a more powerful villain. Funnily I swapped her for a far more powerful foe as I didn't want to run two very powerful ones so close together.
I'm planning on providing villains with a lot of different power levels over time so there will be tougher (and weaker) duelists along the way. As you show its very easy to tweak the character to make them more or less challenging.

My biggest issue is font choice for the section headers. It is a neat, semi-runic font, but I dislike trying to read it.
As for the villains, they seem interesting and I might make use of a few of them. Although, I will probabbly use them more in NPC roles than antagonist roles.
I'm going to do a refresh of my website's design soon and I'll try and pick an easier to read font :-)
This week's villain has been up since Saturday but I've been off line - Marquis Louis Chevalier de Basse Marche - a trader in favours at the court of the Sun King.

This weeks villain - Captain Desrosiers

And this weeks villain is... Mickhail Mihaylov ... a pipe smoking printer.
Well I've not changed the font yet - only just started on the design refresh ;-)

This weeks offering is Master Pwca an ancient spirit who lives in an out of the way part of Avalon.

Two new villains...
Last weeks villain of the week: Эрик Павлов - a deadly axe wielding book lover.
This weeks villain of the week: Dacian Dubois - light comic relief but he might sell the heroes out to a more powerful villain

Ha ha ha! @MarkCaldwell, I like how you wrote "Eric Pavlov" in Cyrillic letters.
