Is there any advice or resource that shows the numbers of wounds various risks can cause or how to come to a value. Just got my book today and it is silent on this topic.
I know how to use a sword.....THe pointy end goes in the other person.

Hello everybody! I'm new to these forums, so if this question was asked already, please direct me tro the proper thread :)
Having re-read the rules again, before today's inaugural 2ed session, I've noticed the wording of boni given to Heroes and Villains due to the Heroes Dramatic Wounds mentions Risks only!
I have noticed this for sometime but never really got to writing about it and am surprised no one has brought this up. The death spiral seems to be a stagnant pattern for every character regardless of trait or skill level, yet in the quick start pdf, some characters had much "longer paths".
This part makes no sense to me.
"In most circumstances, Wounds are a shared Consequence that players overcome as a group.A Risk with a Consequence of 10 Wounds, for example, can be overcome by any and all players.
"If the Consequence is not fully over come... all Heroes are dealth the remaining Wounds.
"A Hero who wishes to protect her friend can choose to take some or all of the Wounds that would be applied to her ally, so long as the Hero is in a position to help and spends one or more Raises.
Sorry if this has already been answered on here, but the wording for Taking Another Hero's Wounds (page 181 of the Core Rulebook) is a little confusing to me.
So I am a little terrified of the new rules. Let's say the heroes are going against a villain that is very skilled or has some kind of special weapon. He could obviously easily have a 10 in STR. If I understand the rules correctly he needs 11 wounds to take a dramatic wound. So you would be looking at 44 wounds to knock someone out.
I am I crazy or is this seem like....really hard for a normal group of 4 to 5 players. Each player would let's say deal 3 to 4 raises worth of wounds each beat. It could easily take them forever to displace 1 STR 10 villain.
