I've yet to play a game of 7th Sea, and i'm new to being a GM, as well. I was looking to convert one of the 1st Edition modules I got with my Kickstarter pledge to run a game next weekend, and I was struggling a little on how to convert the Villains. NPC Heroes are pretty easy, since I'll just flesh them out like a regular Hero, but I'm a little stuck on the Villains. I was hoping someone out there might have a recommendation for me? I was wondering (even when I´m not sure if it´s the right forum) if anyone has a rules compedium to "convert" stats (NPC, monsters...) from the rulebooks, guides, campaigns and adventures from 1st edition tothis 2nd edition, or can be played as they are using the nd edition rules?

So after reading this post (http://walkingmind.evilhat.com/2016/08/28/taking-a-swing-at-swords/) by Rob Donahue (really like the Lacanne, can't stand Rebus), I was inspired to take a crack at converting a couple of the old 1e Swordsman Schools into 2e Duelist Styles.

Now that all the Kickstarter backers should have all the First Edition material to complement their Second Edition core books, does anyone have any thoughts on converting the old Hero and Villain NPCs presented in the nations and secret society books to the new mechanics?

So for various reasons, I've attempted to convert El Fuego and Laerdom to second edition, and I'm looking for some feedback on what I've done.

Here
